11th Australasian environmental isotope conference and 4th Australasian hydrogeology research conference
On behalf of the organizing committee we take pleasure inviting you to tropical Australia for the joint 11th Australasian environmental isotope conference and 4th Australasian hydrogeology research conference. This follows on from the very successful joint conference in Perth in December 2009. The two conferences will run parallel sessions at the same venue, open to all participants.

An optional fieldtrip to the Australian Canopy Crane Research Facility in
the World-Heritage Daintree rainforest at Cape Tribulation will follow on Friday

Cairns is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and world
heritage rainforests of north Queensland. Cairns international airport
has convenient connections to all major cities in Australia as well as direct
flights to Auckland, Hong Kong, Narita, Guam and Port Moresby. Temperature range
in July is 16-26ËšC, with <6 days of rain (>1mm) in the month. The
conference is timed to follow the IUGG in Melbourne and precede the INQUA
congress in Switzerland.
